Swatch Group opens training center in Moscow

Swatch Group has opened training center for watchmakers in Moscow. The company is a leader in term of value of watch import in Russia, its brands are presented across all the country. So it is important to maintain a high level of after sales service. About 40 persons work in a group service center in Moscow today, and there are about 30 workshops all around Russia, authorized by various brands of the group. Before that teaching to tune or repair new calibers was difficult: Swatch Group had to send the watchmakers to Switzerland. This fact limited opportunities for training. The teaching process will become easier and cheaper with the advent of the training center in Moscow. The company will train its own staff as well as representatives of partner workshops. The first classes were held in December, and were devoted to Longines.
