Russians don't like celebrities in commercials

SuperJob Research center carried out a research among credit worthy people older than 18. The research subject was "your attitude to commercials with celebrities "

The problem is just up to date, cause in 2007-2008 participation of celebrities in commercials (Russian and foreign) increased almost twice!

The research question was: Does a brand become more attractive to you if it is advertised by some famous person? 79% of respondents were quite sure saying "no", whereas 15% gave a positive reply. 6% of respondents remained undecided.

Nevertheless, 38 % admit the fact that if there is a celebrity in a commercial, they remember the advertised goods much better. This case is more often met among women, than men (41% and 34 % consequently). "First you remember a celebrity and then the brand he or she promotes".
