Production of diamond jewelry fell by 37.6%

As Rosstat (Federal Service of State Statistics) reports production of diamond jewelry in Russia fell by 37.6% down to 224 thousand pieces in January and February. The production declined by 26.5% (down to 1 million 389 thousand pieces) in the segment of jewelry without stones. Production of wedding rings fell by 27% for the first two months.
