NEWS: The symbol of watches is not gear now

Russian engineers Suren Mkrtchan and Andrey Romanov invented a unique transmission fulfilling all functions of gears.

Mkrtchan and Romanov already got patent in Russia and declared that they are also going to patent their invention in other countries.

Inventors note that the new variant is easier to produce and cheaper. There is no need in gear-cutting machines, there's no chance to break a cutter, and it's made of cheaper materials.

The engineers already answered the question if their invention will be used in watch movements: it will be used in all functions where gears had been used before, including watch movements.
