EVENTS: Struggle against falsification

According to clipping service of Economic Security Department of the Russian Federation a group selling counterfeit watches of famous brands has been disposed. As follows from the official statement, more than 15 000 of counterfeit Cartier, Rolex, Omega, Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, "Longin", "Tissot" have been withdrawn.

Clipping service representatives of Economic Security Department of the Russian Federation determined the value of the lot – 7 million rubles or 260 000 US dollars, i.e. 15-20 US Dollars for a piece. It seems that militia detained a lot of low-quality counterfeits, not having much influence on sales of originals.
